Source hierarchy

Official state lottery and multi-state game records come first. Secondary sources may help identify a delay or discrepancy, but do not override an official record.

• Multi-state sources include Powerball/MUSL and Mega Millions.
• Florida information is checked against the Florida Lottery.
• The selling lottery is always the authority for validating a physical ticket and paying a prize.

Status labels

“Official feed” means the result was retrieved from the named official source during the current page session. “Dated snapshot” means the official source is temporarily unavailable and the card is showing a previously source-checked draw with its date visible. A snapshot is never silently labeled live.

Retrieval and interruption handling

LottoGlance checks the connected official sources when the page loads and refreshes the results service on a short interval. The service uses brief caching to reduce unnecessary requests. If one source fails, other games may remain live while that game falls back to its clearly dated snapshot.

Ticket checker limits

The checker compares typed numbers with the displayed result. It does not scan barcodes, validate ticket authenticity, establish ownership, calculate every prize variation or replace validation by an authorized retailer or lottery.

Major winner locations

Winner cards name only the state, jurisdiction or location published by an official source. LottoGlance does not infer a retailer, city or claimant identity. More specific information is added only after the controlling lottery publishes it.
